Verse Explanation

Jehoram was 32 when he became king and ruled eight years. He died without being mourned or honored like the faithful kings before him. He was buried in the City of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.


History

c. 841 BC. His burial outside the royal tombs reflected the disgrace associated with his reign.
