Verses about evangelism

Evangelism is depicted throughout Scripture as the active, compassionate sharing of the good news of God's redemption with all people. In the Old Testament, God's people were called to declare His glory and marvelous works among the nations, inviting all earth to recognize the true Creator. In the New Testament, this purpose reaches its fulfillment through Jesus Christ, who announced the good news of the kingdom and commissioned His followers to go into the entire world. Through the Great Commission, sharing the message of salvation becomes a central calling for every believer, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Scripture emphasizes in these verses about evangelism that effective evangelism involves both bold proclamation and compassionate living. Believers act as ambassadors for Christ, extending an invitation to reconciliation through clear teaching, personal testimony, and gracious conversation. Driven by love for God and care for others, evangelism seeks to bring spiritual hope, truth, and eternal life to every community and culture.
