Verses about humility
Verses about humility does not mean putting yourself down or thinking you are useless. Instead, it means seeing yourself clearly, admitting that you need God, and putting others before yourself. Scripture warns that pride leads to mistakes and bad choices, while humility brings true wisdom, honor, and peace. Jesus gave the ultimate example of humility by serving people, helping those who were ignored, and choosing to follow God's plan instead of seeking power or praise. God promises to lift up and guide people who stay humble. Rather than showing off or trying to be better than everyone else, a humble person uses their strength to serve others, listen well, and live with a thankful and gentle heart.
But they make themselves low in my sight. They pray and look to me. And they turn from their evil ways. Then I will listen to them from heaven. I will forgive their sin. And I will heal their land. After all, they are my people.
