The person and work of Jesus Christ form the central focus of the Bible, bridging Old Testament prophecy with New Testament fulfillment.
Scripture reveals Jesus as both fully divine and fully human?the eternal Word made flesh who reveals God's heart to humanity. Prophesied centuries in advance, His life on earth was marked by flawless obedience, compassionate healing, authoritative teaching, and selfless service. The Gospels emphasize in these verses about Jesus that His central mission was to seek and save the lost, offering His life as a sacrifice for human sin through His death on the cross.
His bodily resurrection broke the power of death, establishing victory over sin and promising eternal life to all who place their trust in Him. Now exalted as Savior, Mediator, and Lord, Jesus offers personal connection, spiritual transformation, and unwavering hope to believers, inviting everyone into a restored relationship with God.
